You are here because you feel that if you died today, God would hold you innocent.  What does the Bible say?

Well reader, your good works cannot outweigh the bad works in God's eyes.  Many religions teach that your works will get you to heaven in the end but the Bible says the opposite in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast."

For example, lets say that a man is standing trial for murdering another man.  Just before the Judge passes sentence, the accused says to the Judge, "Your Honor, yes I killed a man, but all my life I did good things...I helped blind school children, donated hundreds to cancer societies, I even used to visit the elderly, please let me go"  Would the Judge free the man? No, that would be ridiculous.  Or the man may say, "Your Honor, I believe you are a good man and you can over look my crime."  The Judge would say to the man, "Son, you are right about one thing, I am a good man and because of my goodness I must see that justice is done."

(Don't you think it is fair that justice is done to a child molester, rapist, murder? Why would God be any different?  He hates sin.) God is perfectly Just and MUST pass judgment on the guilty. For god to overlook your sin without a payment, that would be unjust.

You see reader, it is God's goodness that will condemn you on Judgment day.  He has to see that justice is done...He is a JUST God.  People think that God is so loving He will overlook their sin, but He cannot.  If He could, then why on earth did He send His Son Jesus Christ to shed His Blood, die on a cross and suffer??!!  Jesus said on the cross, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me!"  Why?  God couldn't even look at Jesus Christ when He took on the worlds sin!  God cannot stand sin!  If He couldn't even look upon His own Son, what makes you so special that He would overlook your sin!?!? Just think about how man is without excuse!

God cannot allow sin into heaven.  It cannot dwell there.  So if you stand in front of God and he sees just ONE sin in you, then you are guilty... and you cannot go to heaven, for NO sin can exist in heaven...and it is NOT God sending you to hell, it is your own choice (you are being warned now).  The Bible shows us how to make the choice to go to heaven.  God made some promises... like the Free Gift.
